Trip Details

We are so happy that you will be joining us for a dolphin encounter! This page will explain to you what is included in your dolphin package price. The vendors that we use for services have been extremely reliable and have provided us with fantastic experiences in the past. We can assure you that you will be well taken care of with Pure Fin LLC and our vendors.

Tortola

Airfare - We are happy to assist you with booking your flights so that you will arrive to the island in a timely manner that meets your schedule and our schedule with the dolphin assisted wellness sessions. Flights from larger airports (such as Boston) tend to have fewer connections. Flights are to St. Thomas or Tortola. Flights are NOT included in the package price.

Ferry/Taxi Transport from the Airport to the Resort – We will provide transit from the airport to the resort. If you arrive on Beef Island, transportation will be via taxi. From any of the other islands ( such as St. Thomas), you will transfer via the Fast Ferry to Road Town and then be taken via taxi to the resort.

Resort - We stay at the Nanny Cay Resort and Marina which is included in the total package. Nanny Cay is a beautiful resort property with a beach, pool, two restaurants, and a small grocery store. From our experience, the resort has been quiet and comfortable. The rooms are thoroughly cleaned and modern.

Dolphin Discovery - All fees associated with your dolphin encounters are included in the total price. This includes a royal dolphin swim and Holistic Wellness Sessions with the dolphins and facilitators.

Ground Transportation - All ground transit between Dolphin Discovery and the resort is included. Our scheduled meeting times will be important to adhere to so that we may make the most of our time with the dolphins.

Sessions - Sessions are included in the package price. Sessions will be one on one with facilitators and dolphins.

Photos - Photos taken by Krystal and our facilitators are offered at no cost. Photos of your dolphin royal swim are an additional charge by Dolphin Discovery. Prices range between $50-$100. Photos are optional.

Meals, Touring, Transportation (outside of the above outline) - These expenses will be on your own and will be in addition to the package. Often times, Pure Fin LLC does organize touring activities ahead of time, if you wish to participate, we can provide you with group rates with our vendors including transportation.

Packing - Be sure to look at our PACKING LIST.  Because the dolphins are in a lagoon natural habitat, the water temp changes with the tide as does the height of the water. Because of this, it is important to have not only your bathing suit, but a rash guard and shortie wet suit, as water temperatures can be cool despite the sun. Wetsuits also add buoyancy and protection from coral on the platforms. Footwear is required.

Dolphins are amazing and sensitive creatures. In order to contribute to their safety, you can keep the following in mind: Be aware of any cosmetics, lotions, etc. that you are wearing – such things can be harmful to the dolphins sensitive bodies! Also be aware of accessories (such as hair ties, bandanas) and be sure that hats, sunglasses, nose clips, etc. are securely tied with straps. Many things that humans wear have odors and toxins that can affect these highly sensitive creatures each time we get in the water.

Bimini

Airfare - We are happy to assist you with booking your flights so that you will arrive to the island in a timely manner that meets your schedule and our boarding schedule for the Indigo. Airfare is additional.

Taxi Transport from the Airport to Indigo – We will provide transit from the airport to our vessel via taxi.

Our vessel - We stay aboard the Indigo. At 91 feet, Indigo is the largest, most stable and comfortable dolphin boat in the Bahamas by far. Every cabin has en-suite heads (bathrooms) with showers - for a total of nine bathrooms, hair dryers and regular house flushing toilets. There is also an enclosed bathroom/shower on the dive deck.

Facilitated Discussions and Presentations - Facilitations are included in the package price. Sessions will be one on one with facilitators and dolphins. If time allows, sharing sessions of bodywork and energy work are included as well.

Photos - Photos taken by Krystal and our facilitators are offered at no cost. Photos taken by the Indigo crew. The cost is $50. Photos are optional.

Meals - All meals aboard are included. Vegan, vegetarian, gluten free and other specificities should be noted prior to the trip. One evening meal will be at the Bimini Beach Club which will be an additional cost.

Additional Nights - Guests often choose to spend additional nights in Bimini or in Fort Lauderdale to acclimate to the travel. These nights we can assist you with booking, but they are an additional cost.

Packing - Be sure to look at our PACKING LIST.  Because the dolphins are in their natural ocean habitat and we search for Dolphins in the Bahamian waters and Gulf Stream, the temperatures of water can vary, as can the length of time we remain in the water. Thus, it is important to have not only your bathing suit, but a rash guard and shortie wet suit. Wetsuits also add buoyancy.
